Shea Butter

Wondered why a commercial body wash does not nourish your skin?

Most of them are made with water and synthetic detergents called surfactants that are made to have a high cleansing power.

Even though they might be practical to use and give you the quick cleaning effect in the short term, they might dehydrate and strip off from your skin that outside layer that helps and acts as protection.

…without talking about those extra plastic bottles you have to continuously buy and throw out..

Natural handmade soaps produce glycerin naturally and it’s not being removed during the process (this is what happens to most commercial soaps).

They are made with virgin oils and raw butters, like shea butter.

Shea butter is extracted from the nuts of the karité tree (shea tree) in West Africa.

It's been an ingredient used for centuries in cosmetic products. Shea butter may be refined or unrefined.

Unrefined shea butter is the purest natural form. It just goes through a basic filtration process where it gets melted and made into bars. Since it's not chemically processed, it preserves its high nutrients and vitamins.

It’s perfect for sensitive and mature skins because of his high content of Vitamin A and E and its healing properties.

Have you ever tried a product with raw shea butter (karite)?

If not, our Camomilla soap has the highest % of Shea butter, zero coconut oil and scented with a light floral essential oils blend.
